Solarizing the Vegetable Garden (Dig Local Dutton Island)

Come join us for a fun and informative outdoor class where we will explore solarizing garden beds--whether in ground or raised beds--over the hot months of July and August. Learn what solarizing is, how to do it, and how it can help your garden. Class will include a hands-on solarizing activity. Class will be held outdoors. Please bring a folding chair, and be sure to wear close-toed shoes! This workshop is presented by UF IFAS Extension Duval County Master Gardener Volunteers in partnership with Dig Local. Please note: Recording the presentation, either video or audio, is not permitted unless written permission is provided by the educator.
