First Coast Wind Symphony Mother's Day Concert

The First Coast Wind Symphony will end its 35th season with a special Mother's Day concert. Bring the family to hear a delightful program of music Mom will love! St. John's Cathedral organist Tim Tuller will be featured with the ensemble, as well as John Kutudis, winner of the 14th annual Concerto Competition for High School Musicians. The concert is at 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 11th at St. John's Cathedral in Downtown Jacksonville. The event and parking are free, and the public is invited to attend. The First Coast Wind Symphony, Jacksonville’s premier community music organization, is a 60-member group led by Music Director Artie Clifton and Conductor Paul Weikle. The organization received the John Philip Sousa Foundation Sudler Silver Scroll Award given annually to the most outstanding community band in the nation. The FCWS also received an award from the American Prize in Performance, Celebrating American Excellence in the Arts. The American Prize is the nation’s most comprehensive series of contests in the classical arts.
