Profiles in Faith: An Ecumenical Church History

Profiles in Faith takes a topical, ecumenical approach to church history—highlighting how believers from Catholic, Orthodox, Reformed, and Evangelical traditions have shaped the faith across eras and continents. Unlike traditional history courses that follow strict timelines, Profiles in Faith takes a topical approach by era—offering deeper insight into the unity, struggles, and growth of the Church across traditions. With a strong ecumenical emphasis, this course invites participants to appreciate the richness of Christian faith throughout history. The course is based on David Koch’s book Profiles in Faith, but purchasing the book is optional and not required to participate. All are welcome to attend.
