Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing or using the Jambo mobile apps (iOS/Android) or our website at jambo.app (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in the United States to use Jambo as a host, buyer, or promoter.
Promoters also must provide any additional identity or business verification information we request to comply with payment-processing regulations.

Accounts & Security

You must register for an account and provide accurate, up-to-date information.

• Host Accounts: To sell tickets, you must sign up for Jambo’s integrated payment services (powered by Stripe Connect).
• Promoter Accounts: To earn commissions, you must opt in as a promoter and sign up for payment services through Jambo.
• Buyer Accounts: To purchase tickets, you must register and provide payment information.

You’re responsible for safeguarding your passwords and any activity under your accounts.

Service Description

Jambo is an event discovery and ticketing platform. Through the Service:

• Buyers can browse and purchase tickets for events nationwide.
• Hosts can create events, set ticket prices, and promote their listings to Jambo’s audience.
• Promoters can opt in to amplify events in exchange for a per-ticket commission paid by hosts.

Promoters

• Opt-in: Any registered user may apply to become a promoter. Approval may require identity/business verification.
• Affiliate Links: Once approved, promoters receive unique affiliate links.
• Host-Set Rate: Hosts set a gross commission rate (e.g., $X per ticket) to pay promoters.
• Earnings: When a buyer uses a promoter’s link, the host pays the full gross commission rate; Jambo deducts a 10% service fee, and the remaining 90% is paid out to the promoter.
  • Example: Host sets a $4 commission → Jambo retains $0.40 (10%) → Promoter receives $3.60 (90%).

Fees, Payments & Payouts

• Ticket Purchases: Buyers agree to pay the stated ticket price plus any service fees.
• Host Payouts: Hosts receive ticket revenues minus service fees and any promoter commissions, according to Jambo’s payout schedule and reserve policies communicated in the Jambo Dash.
• Promoter Commissions:
  • Calculated as the host-specified gross commission rate per ticket sold through each promoter link.
  • Jambo retains 10% of that gross rate as a service fee; promoters receive the remaining 90%.
  • Paid via Jambo’s integrated payment system after ticket settlement and subject to reserve policies.
• Payment Processing: All payment processing for buyers, hosts, and promoters is provided by Jambo via Stripe Connect and is subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe Terms of Service (the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By using Jambo’s payment features, you agree to be bound by that Agreement as it may be updated by Stripe.

User Content

“User Content” is any text, images, event details or other materials you post. You grant Jambo a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display your User Content solely to operate, improve and promote the Service.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
• Post fraudulent, infringing or misleading content.
• Misuse affiliate/promoter links (e.g., spamming, artificially inflating clicks or sales, misrepresentation).
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service (including attempts to reverse-engineer our apps or systems).

Intellectual Property

All rights, title and interest in Jambo (including software, logos and trademarks) belong to Jambo. You may not copy, modify or distribute our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” JAMBO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL JAMBO OR ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Jambo and its officers, directors and employees from any claims, liabilities or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to Jambo or our users.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we’ll post the revised Terms here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
