Proper Presents: Spiritland with Paul Noble & Trish Toledo

Spiritland is one of the founding forces in the listening bar movement in the West. From their London home with its unique soundsystem, they have been digging deeper than most into music of all eras and genres from launch in 2014. A long-standing love affair with Austin finds them in town for a pop-up at The Quill Room at Austin Proper. The evening will featured sets by Paul Noble and Trish Toledo. Start the night with Founder and music collector Paul Noble plays an all-vinyl set touching on all points of the musical world of Spiritland - deep funk, blue-eyed soul, AOR, obscure pop and other uncategorisable music from the heart. End the night with the talented Trish Toledo from Carson, California, whose Ecuadorian-Guatemalan roots and early exposure to classic soul and pop shape her deeply personal, timeless sound. Drawing from lived experience, she delivers raw, one-take performances that bridge generations and reintroduce classic ballads to new audiences.
