JBF Car Seat Check Up Event - April 15, 2026

*Car seat checkup appointments are designated for families who already have a car seat. Car seats will not be distributed at this event. Please contact jordyn.zyngier@ufhealth.org if you are in need of car seat assistance.* A car seat is one of the most effective ways to keep your child safe while on the road, but making sure it’s used correctly can be tricky. During your car seat checkup appointment, our nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technician(s) will work with you in a hands-on, educational session to ensure your child’s seat is installed properly. You'll leave feeling confident in both the installation and your ability to do it yourself in the future. To help you get the most out of your appointment, here are a few tips to prepare: * Try installing the car seat in your vehicle ahead of time * Bring the instruction manual for your car seat * Bring your vehicle’s owner’s manual * If your child has already arrived, make sure you know their current weight and height
