Mend with Friends Workshop: Sashiko Basics Part 2

What to bring: * needles, pins, thread, embroidery thread, fabric scraps if you have them * one or more items of clothing to mend What to expect: We will provide some basic tools and materials + a big pot of coffee to kick off the morning! * 9:55am Doors open: get coffee, mingle, sew * 10:10am Workshop instruction begins. Follow along with a step-by-step demonstration as we mark a grid and sew a simple sashiko pattern. Catch-up material from Part 1 will be provided. * 11am-12pm: Work on your own mending projects, share advice and support. Please RSVP to help with the headcount. Seating is first come first served.
