Keep Pinellas Beautiful is excited to kick off the 2026 Great American Cleanup (GAC), taking place from March 1st through June 30th across Pinellas County. The Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup® is the nation’s largest community improvement initiative, uniting thousands of communities in service each year. From individuals and families to students, civic groups, businesses, and government partners, our volunteers share a common goal: protecting and enhancing the environmental health of the place we call home. Ready to make an impact? Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful and the City of Clearwater each month at Clearwater Beach! Volunteers will assist with cleaning the beach and surrounding streets. If your group has 10 or more volunteers, please notify Megan Jackson at mjackson@kpbcares.org before registering for this event. Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event. Please arrive by 8:00 am. WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes such as boots or sneakers, sun protection and weather appropriate clothing. WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided. A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle. Bring your own bucket if you have one! Volunteers will need to sign our waiver upon arrival. Public restrooms are available onsite. PARKING: Free parking will be available in the lot next to the Clearwater Beach Library and Recreation Complex (69 Bay Esplanade, Clearwater Beach, FL 33767). Please see yellow area outlined below. Parking passes will be provided upon arrival and must be displayed in dash. Spaces will be available on a first-come basis. Carpooling is encouraged!
