KPB Monthly Gandy Beach Cleanup

It’s that time of year again! Keep Pinellas Beautiful is excited to announce the 2025 Great American Cleanup (GAC) taking place from March 1st – June 30th. This Keep America Beautiful signature event engages thousands of volunteers, removing litter and beautifying locations throughout Pinellas County. Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful the third Saturday of every month at Gandy Beach! Volunteers will assist with cleaning the shoreline and mangroves along South Gandy Beach in St. Petersburg. We can't wait to see you there! Special thanks to our GAC sponsors: Pinellas County, Keep America Beautiful, City of St. Petersburg, City of Clearwater, City of Largo, FDOT, Surfing's Evolution & Preservation Foundation, Waste Pro, Trademark Metals Recycling, and Chick-fil-A. Please note: All participants must be registered. If your group has more than 10 volunteers, please notify Megan Jackson at mjackson@kpbcares.org before registering for this event. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. *** WHERE TO MEET: We will meet at South Gandy Beach, east of The Getaway about halfway down the beach (See map below). Look for the direction signs, table, and tent! GPS Coordinates: 27.873630, -82.602535. Please disregard the Eventbrite map above! TIME: Cleanup will begin at 9:00 am. Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in. WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes such as boots or sneakers, sun protection, and weather appropriate clothing. WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided. A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers are required to sign our waiver upon arrival. There are no public restrooms onsite.
