Wild Sarasota: Sandhill Cranes

Join UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County for an inside perspective of one of the more ancient species of birds, the Sandhill Crane! Despite the frequency with which we may see this large, iconic native wading bird strutting across roads and through neighborhoods in Sarasota County, Sandhill Cranes are a threatened species in Florida. During this fascinating presentation, you can get to know more about the unique lives of Sandhill Cranes, the issues and threats they face, and how you can contribute to the protection and conservation of this important species.
