Join a community Earth Day cleanup at 4th Street North Mangroves to enhance environmental health

Keep Pinellas Beautiful is excited to kick off the 2026 Great American Cleanup (GAC), taking place from March 1st through June 30th across Pinellas County. The Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup® is the nation’s largest community improvement initiative, uniting thousands of communities in service each year. From individuals and families to students, civic groups, businesses, and government partners, our volunteers share a common goal: protecting and enhancing the environmental health of the place we call home. Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful on Wednesday, April 22nd, for a special Earth Day Cleanup at 4th Street North Mangroves! This event is free and open to all ages. We look forward to celebrating Earth Day with you and making a positive impact together! Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event. Our location will be before the bridge). Look for the direction signs, table, and tent! Please disregard the Eventbrite map above. TIME: 9:00 AM -12:00 PM - Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in. WHAT TO WEAR: Closed toe shoes are required. We recommend volunteers wear sun protection and weather approriate clothing. WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided. A water refill station will be available. Please bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers are required to sign our waiver upon arrival. There are no public restrooms onsite.
