Event details Walk the Velvet Crown Trail through the greenbelt and finish with a swim at the iconic Barton Springs Pool (either arrive before 8am for free entry, or bring $5 in cash for entry). Wear comfortable walking shoes and have a hat, water bottle, towel, swimsuit, optional reef-friendly sun lotion. An all-levels activity guided by seasoned hikers and a city lifeguard. Group may choose to walk to the Barton Springs Picnic area for a food truck lunch.
