Queer Company Gathering

QUEER COMPANY GATHERING Calling Brevard-based gays, theys, and gals! We are hosting a nonjudgemental peer-led space where our community can come together to give and receive support for one another. Peer-led support groups are nonclinical spaces where we do not seek to fix, analyze or diagnose one another. We believe that each person has a different set of things that work for them and center supporting somebody in the way that they want to be supported. This is an opportunity to build our support system and hold space for one another as we navigate our unique life journeys as LGBTQIA+ individuals and the struggles associated. We welcome those that are questionings, multiple gender loving, asexual, or ANY label under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella. We welcome anyone that is18+ and a part of our community living anywhere to join us! In This Group: -We respect and validate every sexual and romantic orientation and gender. -We work together to make new friends feel welcomed. -We are non-judgmental and uplifting. -We are not a dating service; we are friends and allow ourselves to be vulnerable. -We give every member time to share. -We ask before giving advice, feedback, or asking questions. -We do not push our beliefs onto others and speak from a place of "I". -Appreciate content uplifts (sharing what topics you will discuss and pausing for a moment) and find them helpful where possible but we also join in understanding that potentially sensitive topics may be talked about here. -We do not tolerate racism, xenophobia, transphobia, homophobia, sexism, ableism, or any type of bigotry. Further, we own our impact when we do harm. -We work together to create a comfortable environment. This space will be hosted by To Write Love on Her Arms at the Moonstruck Market every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5:30PM-7PM. It will be provided at no-cost to attendees for anybody 18+ that agrees to our communally agreed upon comfort agreement.
