Join us for The (Silent) Reading Party presented by the Books & Books Literary Foundation, a quiet(ish) gathering where readers come as they are, with or without a book (we have plenty to choose from too!.) Hosted by our very own social media manager, Alyssa Expósito! Let’s read together in companionable silence for 30- 60 minutes, then raise a glass and chat about what we’ve been reading. Wine, words, and good company. No pressure, just pages. It’s introvert-friendly, extrovert-approved, and all about sharing the joy of books…together. ABOUT THE HOST: Alyssa Expósito was born and raised in Miami and is a proud graduate of the University of Miami and Columbia University. She works as the Social Media Manager at Books & Books and as a Program Coordinator at the Books & Books Literary Foundation, where she combines her love for education, community, and movement, both the kind that occurs in our bodies and the kind that happens in the world. Whether she’s coordinating a book donation, producing content, or strutting down new releases on a BookWalk, she believes in the power of storytelling to connect the dots and bring people together.
