Historical Fiction Book Talk with Carson Markland and Emma Parry

A ticketed in-store historical fiction book talk and signing with Carson Markland and Emma Parry

P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Carson Markland and Emma Parry to celebrate and discuss their respective debut novels book Men Like Us – the surprising, poignant Kennedy story you don't know, with the enigmatic Bobby Kennedy at its heart – and Mrs. Benedict Arnold – a fresh, provocative portrait of the young woman behind the most notorious treason in American History. Markland and Parry will be signing books after the talk. Doors open at 6:30pm with the talk starting closer to 7:00pm. Come early and grab a drink from the P&T Cafe [https://ptknitwear.com/coffee/about-the-cafe]! Tickets and books are available both on eventbrite and at the door. About the authors: Carson Markland is a writer and filmmaker from South Carolina. Her work has been published in SmokeLong Quarterly, Breakwater Review, and Texlandia, and was featured in Best Microfiction Anthology and long-listed for the Disquiet International Literary Prize. She currently lives in New York City. Emma Parry is a literary agent in New York. Born in England, she’s now lived in America for half her life and championed hundreds of successful books.
