SOUL Eagle Crest Lake Cleanup

Help clean and improve Eagle Crest Lake with vegetation removal and native plant installation

Join Stewards of Our Urban Lakes (SOUL) in partnership with Keep Pinellas Beautiful (KPB), the City of St. Petersburg, and St. Petersburg College for a rewarding morning of community improvement at Eagle Crest Lake! Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with invasive vegetation removal, lake debris removal, neighborhood debris pickup, and installation of native plants. Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event. *** WHERE TO MEET: SPC St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus - 6605 5th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710. Please meet in front of the Student Success Center. TIME: Time will vary by date. Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in. WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed toed shoes such as boots or sneakers and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and refillable water bottle. WHAT TO EXPECT: All supplies will be provided including gloves, safety vests, trash bags, pickers, sunscreen, bug spray and hand sanitizer. A water refill station will be available. Restrooms will be available onsite. PARKING: Parking is available onsite.
