Poetry on the Deuces

Cultured Books Literacy Foundation [https://www.culturedbooks.org/]presents “Poetry on the Deuces,” an interactive community event that connects local history, literature, and the arts. Designed to highlight the significance of Historic 22nd Street as a cultural and historical landmark in St. Petersburg’s African American community, the event invites participants to embark on a walking tour, engage in a communal reading, and take part in a creative workshop. Through poetry and collage art, attendees will explore how landmarks like Historic 22nd Street shape personal and communal identities. Participation is free and open to the community, but this registration is required.
