Connecting with Art in Nature

Calling all Artists or people who want to pretend for the day! Connect with nature through art in any medium of your choice. Staff will escort guests via swamp buggy to a scenic spot to create your masterpiece. Connecting with Conservation Weekends (CwC) introduces guests to TNC conservation priorities with a free monthly activity. This month’s tour focuses on Art in Nature. We will provide paints, crayons, paper and coloring pages if desired. Guests are encouraged to bring their own art supplies! We will discuss the importance of art in nature for conservation efforts in Florida and around the world. This is an introductory tour, no previous experience necessary. Please Consider: * All guests will be required to sign a waiver onsite * All youth (ages 12-17) must be accompanied by a legal guardian * All guests must be able to climb steep steps to board the buggy. * Dress Code: Guests should wear bug/sun protective clothing. Closed toed shoes, long pants, hat, and sunglasses are recommended. * Parking: free onsite at office (1 ADA van accessible) * Restroom: 2 non-gendered (1 ADA compliant) at office Guests must use restroom prior to boarding buggy * Water: Cooler for water refills provided * Binoculars, sunscreen and bug spray available for use * Artists are encouraged to bring their own art supplies.
