Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance Workshop (LCLM)

A pesticide application workshop for commercial landscape maintenance personnel with CEU credits and exam prep, limited to 30 participants

The Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance Workshop trains commercial landscape maintenance personnel to make correct pesticide applications to ornamentals and plant beds only. This class helps you review the study materials for the test, but it is no longer a requirement to sit for the exam. Those wanting to take the exam must create an account and apply online [https://aeslicensing.fdacs.gov/] using the licensing portal through Florida Department of Agriculture. Participants can pay online and then they will be given a voucher number. Pesticide exams are no longer offered at Extension Offices. Exams are now administered primarily by Everblue [https://www.goeverblue.com/support/florida-exams] either remotely or in-person. It is recommended that the attendees’ study prior to testing as the workshop is a review. Books required are SM 1, SP 499, and SM 82, these are not provided but can be pre-ordered online at the IFAS Bookstore [https://ifasbooks.ifas.ufl.edu/c-114-pesticide-exam-study-materials.aspx]. * License renewal: Up to 4 Continuing Education Units (CEU's) will be available in the following categories - General Standard/Core (Chapters 482 and 487), Ornamental & Turf, Limited Lawn & Ornamental, Limited Landscape Maintenance, and Commercial Lawn & Ornamental. * Registration: Participants must register by July 13th. The registration fee of $30.00 (plus $3.85 Eventbrite fee) includes light refreshments and handouts. A late fee of $10.00 (plus $4.52 Eventbrite fee) will be applied for registrations after July13th, or if paying at the door. The class is limited to 30 participants. There will be no refunds for the registration fee.
