Wildflower Eco Fair

WELCOME TO THE WILDFLOWER ECO FAIR! 🌻 ♻️ Reduce, reuse, recycle, and rejoice at Wildflower's first-ever Eco Fair! Where you will find activities for ALL ages connected to helping our environment. ♻️ There will be games specifically where kids and the young-at-heart can learn more about protecting the Earth. From artistic endeavors to interactive games, all materials will be used from what we call "pretty trash," so we can all learn together how to divert garbage "Out of the Landfills and into Creativity." All materials will be provided; just bring yourself, your kiddos, and your friends to spend some time creating. Local eco-conscious businesses and organizations will join us in this event, including (but certainly not limited to): * The Central Texas Cherokee Township will lead games of Stickball, one of the oldest sports on this continent, played by indigenous communities to this day. * BE Wild will provide pollination education and a hands-on living soil station. * STEMSign will teach attendees how to do the American Sign Language signs for various environmental words and phrases. There will also be opportunities to help the environment on a personal level. 🌱 Bring some extra oxygen into your home by shopping our plant sale! 🪡 We'll also have a mending table where we will help with basic repairs to keep your clothing out of the landfill. 🚮 We'll also be collecting items that are difficult to recycle or dispose of properly, in partnership with IREP (I Recycle Everything Possible).
