Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver chronicles a year her family spent eating locally and seasonally. Blending memoir, science, and humor, the book explores how everyday food choices affect health, community, and the environment, while celebrating the joy, challenges, and meaning of growing and cooking real food.
