A workshop focused on emergency preparedness for neurodivergent individuals, featuring insights from the National Hurricane Center

Designed for Neurodivergent individuals, their families, and caregivers. Being prepared should feel safe, not overwhelming. Workshop Highlights: * For the first time, experts from the National Hurricane Center will be available for questions. * Understand how emergencies can impact self-regulation for neurodivergent individuals. * Understand the differences between Sensory Seeker, Sensory Avoider, and Mixed profiles. * Apply sensory-profile-based planning to real-life emergency preparedness scenarios. This workshop reflects the City's continued dedication to ensuring that all residents are prepared, supported, and considered before, during, and after an emergency.
